Alpaca Suri Double Knit Yarn

The Alpaca Suri Double Knit Yarn is an exquisite yarn. It is beautifully silky and soft and is an absolute joy to knit with. It is 100% suri fibre from our own animals and is manufactured also in the UK.

When you touch a Suri Alpaca you feel like you are touching silk you feel this in the yarn with the additional benefit of the ultra warmth of alpaca. The alpaca unique hollow fibres gives alpaca fibre higher insulating properties and has no lanolin so can be worn by those who can not normally tolerate wool next to their skin.

It comes in a variety of different natural colours.

Care Instructions

All alpaca products must be washed on a wool cycle in the washing machine or handwash. Do not tumble dry or dry in direct heat such as on a radiator or Aga, reshape whilst damp. Once dry can be ironed on a cool heat.
