Benefits of Shea Butter
Shea butter soap combines the moisturising properties of Shea butter with the cleaning and disinfecting benefits of soap for a hand and body washing experience that strikes the perfect balance between cleaning and moisturising.
Shea butter has lots of vitamins that are great for your skin, including vitamins A, E, and F. It also contains linolenic acid and other types of fatty acids your skin needs. This makes shea butter a natural moisturiser. You can use shea butter to help prevent dry skin and to keep your skin nourished and healthy. Many types of soap leave strip your skin’s natural oils away, leaving it dry and cracked. But the moisturising effects of shea butter soap allow it to disinfect and hydrate your skin at the same time.
Shea butter is also full of things like linolenic, palmitic, oleic, and stearic acids that protect your skin from drying out and helps the skin produce its own natural collagen. The fatty acids in the soap cause your skin to produce more collagen, which reduces wrinkles and keeps your skin full and elastic. This can make your skin tone better and prevent skin conditions like cellulite.
Shea butter also contains naturally occurring antibacterial compounds, such as cinnamic acid, that further help to fight germs and bacteria, and is also helpful for skin irritations and rashes that need soothing and healing help. Because raw Shea butter is naturally anti- inflammatory, using it to wash areas that are inflamed, irritated and in need of some disinfecting and protective love is the perfect gentle yet effective strategy for using your Shea butter soap.
